Manchester United paid tribute to the Pakistan Supporters’ Club before their Premier League showdown against Everton at Old Trafford on Saturday. Prior to kick-off, members of the Pakistan Supporters’ Club were given the special opportunity to meet with Manchester United legend Gary Pallister. Pallister, a highly decorated player with three Premier League titles under his belt, had an illustrious career at United, amassing 317 league appearances before finishing his playing days at Middlesbrough.
The interaction between the club members and Pallister was shared across United’s social media platforms, highlighting the significance of the meeting with the iconic former player.
Argentine talent Alejandro Garnacho was recognized as the Player of the Match for his impactful performance against Everton. Garnacho played a pivotal role in securing the victory, winning both penalties and showcasing exceptional skills throughout the game.
In his post-match comments, United’s head coach Erik Ten Hag lauded Garnacho’s progress and contribution to the team, emphasizing the young player’s crucial role in their recent success.
The win against Everton narrowed the gap to the Premier League’s top four to eight points, with Aston Villa currently occupying the fourth spot with 55 points. However, the outcome of Villa’s upcoming match against Tottenham Hotspur could potentially extend their lead to 11 points once again.
