The government has issued a notification to increase the salaries of government employees, the notification will be applicable from 1st July 2023.
According to the details, a notification of a 30 to 35 percent increase in the salaries of government employees has been issued.
The notification said that the salaries of the employees from grades 1 to 16 have been increased by 35% while the pay of federal employees in grades 17 to 22 has been increased by 30 percent, the notification will come into effect from July 1, 2023.
It may be recalled that the government had increased the salaries and pensions of government employees in the budget, which stated that the salaries of government employees from grades 1 to 16 will increase by 35 percent and the salaries of government employees from grades 17 to 22 will increase by 30 percent.
The pension was increased by 17 and a half percent while the minimum pension of government employees was increased to 12 thousand rupees per month.
