The available positions aim to strengthen Pakistan’s agricultural research and development capabilities, focusing on strategic planning, policy formulation, and multidisciplinary research programs.
Available Positions
PARC is hiring for the following Whole-Time Member (MP-II) positions:
- Member (Crop Sciences)
- Member (Natural Resources)
- Member (Animal Sciences)
- Member (Social Sciences)
Eligibility Criteria
Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Academic Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in the relevant field of Crop Sciences, Natural Resources, Animal Sciences, or Social Sciences from an HEC-recognized institution.
- First division or CGPA 3.00 or higher in the highest degree, with no more than one second division or grade C in the academic record.
- Experience:
- At least 22 years of proven experience in R&D organizations or research institutions.
- A minimum of 15 years of post-Ph.D. teaching or research experience in HEC-recognized institutions.
- At least 15 research publications in HEC-recognized journals or books.
- Additional Skills:
- Leadership in strategic planning and multidisciplinary program management.
- Effective mobilization and utilization of financial and human resources.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Job Details
- The appointments are tenure-based for three years, as per the PARC Ordinance, 1981.
- Candidates must be Pakistani nationals.
- Age limit: 62 years (as per Management Position Scales Policy-2020).
