As the Test Series match against Sri Lanka is round the corner, Captain Babar Azam finds Sarfraz Ahmed as a perfect person for the wicketkeeper.
While addressing a press conference, Babar Azam announced that their preferred choice for the wicketkeeper is Sarfraz Ahmed for the upcoming series however, the final decision will be made after examining the situation in Sri Lanka.
During the press conference, Babar was asked about the team’s performance and his potential resignation during a press conference to which he showed complete confidence as a captain and trust in his team.
In response to the questions asked, Babar Azam emphasized that his focus is on leading the team to success and he is determined to fulfil his responsibilities as a captain to guide the men in green to victory. He also added that Pakistani team did not win last year because the team did not play good test cricket however, he is giving his best. He further added,
“The question about changing me as captain can be better answered by the PCB”.
The captain also discussed the team’s strategy for facing the spinners during the upcoming Sri Lanka tour.
