The National Disaster Risk Management Fund (NDRMF) is offering exciting job opportunities for professionals in various fields. NDRMF, a government-owned not-for-profit company, was established under Section 42 of the Companies Act 2017. Its mission is to provide grant funding for projects that enhance Pakistan’s resilience to climate change and natural hazards and strengthen the government’s ability to respond to disasters. The available positions are based in Islamabad and are offered on a fixed six-month contract.
Available Positions
GIS Developer/Modeling Expert-NatCat Risk Modeling (National)
- Position: One position on a fixed six-month contract
- Qualification: BS/MS in Geoinformatics, Computer Science, GIS Development & Programming, or related fields
- Experience: Seven years of experience with at least five major projects. Proficient in WebGIS technologies, data visualization, and AI frameworks.
GIS Expert NatCat Data Center
- Position: One position on a fixed six-month contract
- Qualification: BS/MS in Geoinformatics, GIS & Remote Sensing, Data Science, or related fields
- Experience: Seven years of experience with major national and international projects. Proficient in integrating heterogeneous datasets, spatial analysis, and data visualization.
Senior System & Network Administrator-IT Expert NatCat Data Center
- Position: One position on a fixed six-month contract
- Qualification: BS/MS in Computer Science, IT, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
- Experience: Five years of hands-on experience with Windows and Linux systems, network design, VMware technologies, cloud computing, and data center management.
Junior System & Network Administrator NatCat Data Center
- Position: One position on a fixed six-month contract
- Qualification: BS/MS in Computer Science, IT, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
- Experience: Five years of hands-on experience in systems administration, network design, cloud computing, and data center management.
Resource Person Support Services (Admin & Security)
- Position: One position on a fixed three-month contract
- Age Limit: 50-62 years
- Qualification: Master’s degree in Business Administration or Social Sciences from a reputable institution
- Experience: Six to eight years of multi-role experience in administration, logistics, management, safety, and security duties in the corporate sector. Retired Army Officers up to the rank of Lt Colonel are preferred.
