A team of students from the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, known as the Eco-Runner Team Delft, is working on creating a hydrogen-powered car that can travel long distances without refueling.
Their latest model, Eco-Runner XII, aims to set a new world record for the farthest distance traveled by a hydrogen vehicle. The team focuses on improving the car’s design and aerodynamics to enhance its efficiency. By reducing the car’s weight and addressing energy losses, they have developed a lightweight vehicle that achieves impressive mileage.
Despite competition from other companies, the team remains dedicated to sustainable transportation solutions and aims to inspire a greener future. Their record attempt is scheduled for June.
