In the latest Henley Passport Index for 2025, Pakistan has been ranked 103rd, sharing this position with Yemen. Pakistani passport holders can travel to only 33 countries without needing a visa. This low ranking highlights the limited global mobility available to citizens of Pakistan.
On the other hand, Singapore claims the top spot in the rankings, offering its citizens visa-free access to 195 countries, making it the most powerful passport in the world. Japan follows closely behind in second place, with access to 193 countries without a visa.
Meanwhile, South Korea, Germany, and France share the third position, granting their passport holders visa-free entry to 192 destinations. Regional comparisons show India at the 85th spot, offering visa-free access to 59 countries, while China ranks 60th with access to 87 countries. Saudi Arabia stands at 58th place with visa-free entry to 91 destinations.
These rankings reflect the varying levels of travel freedom citizens enjoy globally, with some nations benefiting from extensive international mobility, while others face significant restrictions.
