Pakistani boxer Usman Wazeer, also known as “The Asian Boy,” recently achieved a big victory in his international ranking fight against Thailand’s Namchai Singmansak in Bangkok.
In the third round, Wazeer secured a knockout win, making the Thai boxer drop to the floor and leading to the referee stopping the match.
Wazeer holds the current titles of WBC Middle-East, ABF Welterweight, and WBA Asia Welterweight Champion.
Last year, he made history by becoming the first Pakistani to win the WBO Youth Welterweight Championship.
With a flawless record of 12 wins in 12 matches, Wazeer is aiming to continue his success. His next goal is to conquer the IBF Continental Championship and break into the top 10 rankings of the IBF.
It’s a significant feat considering his undefeated streak and impressive knockout record.
However, the ultimate challenge lies in facing Terrence Crawford, the reigning welterweight champion.
Crawford boasts an outstanding record of 40 wins and no losses, with 31 of those victories coming by knockout. He currently holds the WBA, WBC, WBO, IBF, and Ring titles.
Crawford is the formidable opponent that Wazeer aims to overcome in order to establish himself as the best in his weight class.
