The project to raise this massive flag will cost approximately Rs. 400 million, and the official flag-raising ceremony is scheduled to take place on Pakistan’s Independence Day in 2023. However, there are also critics who argue that the enormous costs involved in these projects could be better used for other important purposes, such as education, healthcare, or infrastructure development. They believe that this competition is a waste of taxpayer money.
