The government in Pakistan has announced that petrol prices will remain unchanged at Rs 281.34, while the cost of high-speed diesel (HSD) is reduced by Rs 7 per liter for the next two weeks.
The Finance Division notification indicates that the decision aims to alleviate financial burdens on the public during the interim period.
The revised prices, approved by the caretaker prime minister, will be effective from midnight on December 1 until December 15.
Additionally, the prices of kerosene oil and light diesel oil are reduced by Rs 3.82 per liter and Rs 4.52 per liter, respectively.
