Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has reduced the registration fee for old models of unregistered iPhone.
After the Federal Board of Revenue recently announced a tax cut on Apple smartphones, the PTA has announced a tax cut on the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus in the form of registration fees.
On behalf of PTA, the registration fee on iPhone 8 on passports has been reduced from 56 thousand 622 rupees to 38 thousand 922 rupees, while on the ID card it has been reduced from 67 thousand 784 rupees to 48 thousand 314 rupees.
PTA has also reduced the registration fee of iPhone 8 Plus, the registration fee of iPhone 8 Plus on passport has been reduced from Rs 58 thousand 651 to Rs 40 thousand 951, iPhone 8 on ID card Plus registration fee has been reduced from Rs 70 thousand 16 to Rs 50 thousand 546.
