The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has announced job openings for various positions, including Provincial Management Service (PMS) posts through ministerial quotas.
Eligibility and Qualification Criteria
Candidates must meet the prescribed qualifications and experience outlined in the service rules. Key requirements include:
- A Bachelor’s degree (14 years of education) or an LL.B from a recognized university.
- Civil servants in BS-11 to BS-16 must have 5 years of service, while those in BS-05 to BS-10 require 8 years of service.
Candidates claiming equivalence of their qualifications must provide an Equivalence Certificate issued by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) or the relevant authority. Failure to present this certificate at the time of the interview will result in disqualification.
Important Guidelines for Applicants
- In-Service Candidates:
Applicants currently employed must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) or Departmental Permission Certificate (DPC) from their department before applying. - Registration Certificates:
Candidates must ensure they possess valid registration certificates from relevant regulatory bodies such as PEC, PNC, PMDC, PMC, or PVMC before the application closing date. - Marks and Percentage Certificates:
At the time of the interview, candidates must provide detailed marks or percentage certificates for all degrees from recognized authorities. CGPA scores are not acceptable.
Examination and Selection Process
Candidates must secure at least 40% marks in each subject and an aggregate of 50% marks to qualify for the written examination. A deduction of 0.25 marks will apply for each incorrect answer in the MCQ-based test.
Application Fee and Submission
Applicants must deposit the application fee through online payment methods, including ATMs, mobile banking, internet banking, Jazz Cash, Easy Paisa, or 1Link member bank branches. Over-the-counter payments are also accepted.
PPSC has clarified that all official updates and announcements are available only on their official website. Candidates should avoid relying on unauthenticated information from other sources.
Additional Notes
In case of changes to the number of vacancies by the concerned department, fresh applications will not be invited. Candidates are advised to stay updated through the official PPSC website.
