For the first time in 30 years, Tehran, Iran, displayed posters of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in key locations to express solidarity with Pakistan. This significant gesture was part of a week-long celebration organized by the Economic Cooperation Organisation (ECO) Cultural Institute (ECI).
The events were held in collaboration with the Urdu Language Student Union of Iran and the Pakistani Embassy in Tehran. Speaking at the event, Dr. Saad S. Khan, President of ECI, highlighted Jinnah’s exceptional leadership and his efforts to unite Muslims for independence.
The celebrations brought together dignitaries, scholars, and guests who participated in a variety of cultural activities. These included essay competitions, live performances, and a special documentary focusing on Allama Iqbal’s philosophy.
