Eid Milad un Nabi (PBUH) will be celebrated on September 29 across the country. This date was decided because the new moon that marks the beginning of the Islamic month of Rabi ul Awal for the year 1445AH was not seen. The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, led by its chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, made this announcement after meeting in Islamabad.
During the meeting, members from different parts of the country discussed various reports about the moon sighting, but they didn’t receive any reliable reports confirming the moon’s sighting. So, the committee decided together that the month of Rabi ul Awal will begin on September 18 (Monday).
As a result of this decision, Eid Milad un Nabi, which is celebrated on the 12th day of Rabi ul Awal, will be observed on September 29.
