The U.S. Embassy in Islamabad, in collaboration with the National Science & Technology Park (NSTP), is excited to announce the launch of the second cohort of the RSSC (Rising Startup Success Challenge). This 9-month program aims to support female founders and business owners from minority groups who are looking for seed funding and mentorship.
The RSSC program provides invaluable opportunities specifically designed to empower entrepreneurs from minority communities and women entrepreneurs, fostering diversity and inclusivity in the business ecosystem. The winners of the competition will get seed funding of PKR 1 million and fully funded visit to the United States to explore innovation hubs and connect with experts. Additionally, the program provides comprehensive startup training and one-on-one mentorship, ensuring that participants receive valuable insights to help them grow their businesses.
One of the standout features of the program is the access to the NUST and its STP, NSTP’s Innovation Ecosystem. The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) is a leading academic institution in Pakistan and has a rich history of fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. Through this partnership the participants will get an incredible platform to accelerate their ideas.
The focus on empowering women and minorities in the entrepreneurial landscape is a key component of this initiative, promoting inclusive growth and diversity.
