These conditions, announced by the Ministries of Hajj and Umrah, in conjunction with the Ministry of Health, aim to regulate pilgrim registrations and vaccination statuses through digital platforms.
Registration Requirements:
To ensure the legitimacy of their pilgrimage, all pilgrims must obtain a Hajj permit through the Nusk platform. This digital process streamlines the registration procedure and provides essential information for pilgrims and authorities alike. Additionally, registration through the Sehaty application is mandatory to verify the vaccination status of pilgrims.
Vaccination Criteria for Residents:
Residents within Saudi Arabia must adhere to specific vaccination requirements. They must have received the COVID-19 vaccine, influenza vaccine, and meningitis vaccine within the last five years. This mandate aims to safeguard both the pilgrims and the broader community against contagious diseases.
Vaccination Criteria for International Pilgrims:
International pilgrims face distinct vaccination criteria. They must obtain the Neisseria meningitidis vaccine at least 10 days but not more than five years prior to their arrival in Saudi Arabia. Verification of this vaccination through a certificate from their home country is mandatory. Additionally, international pilgrims must be vaccinated against polio, adding an extra layer of protection against communicable diseases.
