Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, who leads the Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, has announced the approval of 1,000 sessions for Hajj pilgrims to memorize the Qur’an, according to the Saudi Press Agency. This initiative is part of the broader plans for this year’s Hajj, aimed at promoting the morals and moderate teachings of the Qur’an worldwide.
The sessions will be conducted by qualified Saudi teachers who have themselves memorized the holy book. These teachers will guide the pilgrims through the memorization process, ensuring they understand the Qur’an’s teachings deeply. This effort underscores the Kingdom’s dedication to educating people about the Qur’an and fostering a better understanding of its messages.
