The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) is inviting applications for Security Officer positions across various field offices. This opportunity is suitable for retired Armed Forces officers at the rank of Lt. Colonel/Major or equivalent.
Job Responsibilities
- Liaison with Law Enforcement: Maintain close coordination with law enforcement agencies and government departments to ensure protective and preventive security measures.
- Safety and Security Management: Formulate, implement, supervise, and coordinate safety and security matters to provide a secure environment for employees, visitors, and stakeholders.
- Supervision: Oversee deployment of police guards, attendance records, and administrative matters of security staff in consultation with management.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor safety and security arrangements within the bank to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Budget Planning: Develop security budgets, recommend modern security equipment/weapons, and monitor effective budget utilization.
Eligibility Criteria
- Experience: Retired Armed Forces officer at the rank of Lt. Colonel/Major or equivalent.
- Specialization: Army Fighting and Support Arms/SSG, Navy/Marines Operations/GO/SSG, PAF Admin and Special Duties/SSG.
- Age Limit: Maximum 50 years as of the last date of application submission.
Place of Posting
Vacancies are available in various field offices, including Lahore, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, Gujranwala, Sukkur, and Karachi (North Nazimabad). However, selected candidates may be posted at any of the sixteen field offices of the bank, initially or during the service period.
