Pakistani nationals intending to visit the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have been issued a strict advisory by UAE authorities, emphasizing the critical importance of adhering to local laws and visa regulations. The advisory warns that failure to comply with these requirements could result in travelers being denied entry or even deported from the UAE. Hussain Muhammad, the Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, announced that Pakistani travelers will now face more rigorous checks at airports upon arrival in the UAE.

He highlighted the necessity for visitors to meet all entry requirements, which include having confirmed hotel reservations, proof of sufficient funds, and return tickets. These measures are part of a broader effort by UAE authorities to ensure that all visitors comply with their strict immigration policies.Travel experts have underscored the importance of these requirements, particularly for those entering the UAE on a visit visa. According to these experts, visitors must carry at least Dh3,000 in funds, a return ticket, and evidence of accommodation, whether in a hotel or with a family member. Any failure to present these required documents could lead to travelers being denied entry at the UAE border and possibly facing deportation.

Hussain Muhammad also addressed the 1.7 million Pakistani expatriates currently residing in the UAE, urging them to strictly adhere to local laws and customs. He cautioned that violations of UAE laws, which are enforced with zero tolerance, could result in severe penalties, including fines or imprisonment. He advised all travelers and residents to thoroughly prepare before their journey and to respect the legal framework of the UAE.The advisory was further reinforced by Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s ambassador to the UAE.

Ambassador Tirmizi emphasized the need for tourists to strictly comply with visa regulations, including the requirement to carry a return ticket, adequate financial resources, and proof of accommodation. He also reminded visitors that their time in the UAE should be focused on sightseeing and tourism, rather than seeking employment, which could lead to legal complications. In response to these new directives, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and airport authorities in Pakistan are coordinating to ensure that all travelers are compliant with these guidelines before departing for the UAE.

Pakistani travelers who do not meet the necessary requirements will be stopped at the airport, preventing potential issues upon arrival in the UAE.This stringent advisory reflects the UAE’s commitment to maintaining a well-regulated and orderly entry process for all visitors. It serves as a reminder to Pakistani travelers of the importance of thorough preparation and adherence to all visa and legal requirements before embarking on their journey to the UAE.
