Suzuki Alto remained the best-selling car in Pakistan in January 2025, with 5,039 units sold. It led the auto market, making it the top choice for buyers.
The ‘Below 1000cc’ category recorded the highest sales, reaching 5,633 units. Following closely was the ‘1300cc and Above’ segment, which saw 5,518 units sold. Toyota Corolla and Yaris were the most popular models in this category, with 2,149 units sold.
Overall, car sales in Pakistan showed a significant increase, rising by 61.4% compared to the same month last year. A total of 17,010 units were sold across different categories, indicating strong demand in the auto market.
The growth was not limited to cars alone. Light commercial vehicles (LCVs), vans, and jeeps also saw an impressive rise in sales, increasing by 87.5%. This suggests that more businesses and individuals are investing in vehicles for personal and commercial use.
Experts believe that several factors contributed to this growth, including improved supply chains, attractive financing options, and consumer confidence in the market. Automakers are optimistic that this upward trend will continue in the coming months.
