TikTok’s new initiative of digitizing education is offering 10,000 scholarships to innovative Pakistani students in order to empower the digital learning across the country. Their ed-tech startup Edkasa and Sindh Education Foundation have collaborated this year to extend the distinctive digital learning programme #ExamReady.
The company stated that their partnership with Sindh Education Foundation will help foster quality STEM education across the underprivileged areas of Sindh. As per the records, the previous campaign has helped many students with over 500 scholastic videos on STEM subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
The online lectures included tips and hacks for studying and exams. The videos received much appreciation from the students and got more than 500 million views as well as almost 114,000 video creations.
The Manager Public Policy Programs and Partnerships, Zara Basharat, stated that they believe in the importance of education as well as the role of technology in upgrading the outcomes for students.
These 10,000 scholarships will be available to post-primary students who are motivated to digitize the education and can promote the importance of distance learning to all the parts of country.
