The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has recently discontinued the issuance of three-month visit visas, according to the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security (ICP). Previously, visitors to the UAE had the option to obtain a three-month visit visa, but it is no longer available. Instead, travelers can opt for 30- or 60-day visit visas, which can be issued by travel agencies.
This change has been confirmed by travel agents who have reported that the option to request a three-month visit visa is no longer available on the portals they use to issue permits. While the three-month visit visa was briefly reintroduced as a leisure visa in May, it seems to have been discontinued again.
In Dubai, however, a 90-day visa is still being issued to visitors who are first-degree relatives of residents. This means that residents can bring their parents or close relatives to Dubai on a three-month scheme. This accommodation for relatives aligns with Dubai’s efforts to facilitate family reunions and visits.
The UAE’s visa policies are subject to adjustments in response to various factors, including public health concerns and economic considerations.
