Zimbabwe won their final match against Kenya but was unable to qualify once Uganda emerged victorious.
In a historic achievement, Uganda has qualified for a senior World Cup for the first time.
The team reached their target of 66 runs in 8.1 overs after bowling out Rwanda for 65 runs in 18.5 overs.
Zimbabwe, needing Uganda to lose for a chance at qualification, put up a strong performance in their match against Kenya, scoring 217 for 4.
However, Uganda’s victory sealed their fate.
Zimbabwe’s captain Sikandar Raza played a significant role, scoring 82 runs in 48 balls, and Sean Williams contributed with a 26-ball 60.
The bowlers, including Richard Ngarava, Ryan Burl, Raza, and Williams, each took two wickets, restricting Kenya to 107 for 8 and securing a 110-run win for Zimbabwe.
