The US dollar has reached new heights against Pakistani currency by observing a gain of Rs. 1.84 settling at Rs. 289.38 on 2nd August 2023, Wednesday.
The American currency has continued an upward trend this week with a major surge observed today. Earlier the US Dollar slightly rose by 71 paisas trading at Rs. 288.25 in the interbank market. However, the dollar started the day with a hike of 46 paisas in the interbank market reaching Rs 288 against the rupee.
The American currency increased in the open market as well gaining Rs. 1.50 and reaching Rs. 292.50 for trading.
On Tuesday, the value of the US dollar faced slight fluctuations in the interbank with a gain of 90 paise, finally closing the trading rate at Rs. 287.54. The value faced a slight fall of Rs. 1 in the open market on Tuesday, closing at Rs. 290.
